- Term Dates – There will be three terms of lessons per year; the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms. Enrolment to lessons is continuous from one term to the next, unless you give notice to withdraw.
- Fees – Payment for lessons is required for each term in advance. Invoices will be emailed out at the beginning of each term and should be paid within 14 days of the invoice date. Failure to pay fees will lead to the withdrawal of tuition.
- Cancellation – A student can withdraw from tuition only at the end of a term. Notice to stop lessons at the end of the term must be given and students may continue to receive lessons until the end of the relevant term if they wish.
- Missed lessons – Credits are not given for lessons missed by students or missed due to circumstances beyond Sound Start Music’s control, unless the school is closed. If a student misses 3 or more consecutive lessons through illness, credit for the missed lessons will be issued on production of a medical certificate or doctor’s note.
- Tutor absence – in the rare event of tutor absence and being unable to deliver a lesson, we will either offer you credit on your account or a proportionate refund.
